I overheard several people comment on the amusing silliness of this colored whale tail sculpture in the center of a Chubut, Argentina intersection. Absolutely, why not? It's hilarious.

That is good information for a photographer. 

The scene captures the vibe, both economically and artistically, of the flavor of this tiny village on the Valdez peninsula that caters almost exclusively to whale watching.
